I've gained close to a decade of professional graphic design experience after first discovering the wonders of Adobe Photoshop in a high school photography class. My interest in art history and the past as it relates to present aesthetics/trends has led me to create unique solutions, often mixing historical references with modern concepts. The interplay between type and image, consideration of audience, and thorough exploration of possibilities are essential to my process.
Upon graduating from the Tyler School of Art in 2016 with a degree in Graphic & Interactive Design and a minor in Art History, I accepted a full-time role in NYC as a packaging and print/digital designer at a Mediterranean food producer where I worked with well-known clients such as Whole Foods. After gaining valuable experience,I began freelancing across diverse industries in the NYC and Philadelphia areas, eventually discovering my passion for designing for mission-driven organizations. This led me to work for a non-profit committed to social and environmental change, The Pennsylvania Horticultural Society. Since then, I've been using my design experience to help further the organization's initiative of "Gardening for the Greater Good" across the Philadelphia region. In my free time, you can find me grave gardening like a Victorian, collecting/repurposing found objects, or becoming enthralled with a new artistic medium.
